This postcard shows the Hansestadt in Lübeck. Lübeck (pronounced
[ˈlyːbɛk]) is an old city in Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany close
to the Baltic Sea, and one of the major ports of Germany. On the river
Trave, it was the leading city of the Hanseatic League, and because of
its extensive Brick Gothic architecture is listed by UNESCO as a World
Heritage Site. In 2015, it had a population of 218,523.

This postcard shows the Saint Isaac's Cathedral or Isaakievskiy Sobor
(Russian: Исаа́киевский Собо́р) in Saint Petersburg, Russia, is the
largest Russian Orthodox cathedral (sobor) in the city. It is the
largest orthodox basilica and the fourth largest (by the volume under
the cupola) cathedral in the world. It is dedicated to Saint Isaac of
Dalmatia, a patron saint of Peter the Great, who had been born on the
feast day of that saint.

This postcard shows The Kamchatka Peninsula, the Commander Islands, and Karaginsky Island constitute the Kamchatka Krai of the Russian Federation. The vast majority of the 322,079 inhabitants are ethnic Russians, but there are also about 13,000 Koryaks (2014). More than half of the population lives in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (179,526 people in 2010) and nearby Yelizovo (38,980).
The Kamchatka peninsula contains the volcanoes of Kamchatka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The city is famous for its Gouda cheese, stroopwafels, many grachten, smoking pipes, and its 15th-century city hall. Gouda's array of historic churches and other buildings makes it a very popular day trip destination.
